HEBERGER INTERNATIONAL

Step by step, stone by stone

In 1948 the master bricklayer, Jakob Heberger, founded his own construction company. The principle task he set himself was to set about clearing up, repairing and rebuilding the ruins left by the war. The young man had his hands full, but dealt with the tasks facing him with optimism, skill and great reliability. Construction quality and the ability to meet deadlines soon became hallmarks of the company and it benefit from the rapid pace of reconstruction during economic miracle of the 1950's.

Jakob Heberger took full advantage of the market opportunities, and as a result the company flourished. These developments, and the expan-sion it brought about, led Heberger-Bau to change its focus from reconstruction work to the construction of new industrial and municipal facilities.

The first seven-digit contracts were on their way ...

Turnover volume continued to rise and Heberger-Bau expanded proportionately.

In the 1970's, however, came the deep economic downturn in the construction industry that forced many businesses out of the market. Heberger remained unaffected by the crisis and was able to maintain the same level of profitability because of the company's strength in construction quality, reliability and close customer relationship development.

1974: Crossing Borders ...

In 1974 Heberger first began operations outside of Germany. Beginning with the construction of champagne production facility in France, the company went on to complete several large contracts in Iraq and elsewhere in Middle East.
During the 1980's and 1990's Hebeger expanded its international operations into the Iberian Peninsula, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Croatia.

Today Heberger conducts construction operations throughout Germany with its headquarters in Schifferstadt and representative offices in Baumholder, Finsterwalde, Leipzig, Mainz, Neulussheim and St. Ingbert.

Management

Customer Satisfaction Is Our Greatest Asset

The demands being placed on construction companies continue to grow. Large-scale projects in particular require the unification of functionality and architectural aesthetics to be customized to the undertaking and individually implemented.

We are a construction company that operates and competes internationally and our success has come from two key abilities: The ability to make the fulfillment of the client and his wishes is our primary mission and our incessant drive to continuously innovate in order to meet the demands of the times and the people shaping them.

Client satisfaction is our greatest asset. Our acute awareness of this fact within the Heberger Group explains why we have become one of the leading construction companies. To achieve this level of client satisfaction we employ sophisticated contract management systems, emphasize environmental protection in our operations and promote service-oriented thinking among our employees. Our commitment to continuously develop these skills contributes to our achieving optimal project management performance.
